INTRODUCTION TO RULER QUILTING - APRIL 18 Kathy Clawson is a Westalee Design Accredited Teacher which is the highest level of educator offered by Sew Steady. This affords you the opportunity to learn from a trained teacher who is able to help you with your ruler work journey. Kathy has many classes on the Sew Steady University as well as offering Zoom and in-person classes. Her introduction class includes learning how to use the Westalee Starter Set of templates, the ruler foot, proper machine set-up, marking equipment, and more. ROCKY MOUNTAIN BEAR CLAW - JUDY NIEMEYER WORKSHOP - JUNE 19-20 Rose Mary Huber Pauls comes to us from Sun Prairie. Rose Mary has been teaching classes for dealerships and at the Madison Wisconsin Quilt Show for over 30 years. Her expertise with Judy Niemeyer/ Quiltworx techniques will guarantee your success. If you love the exquisite Quiltworx quilts but have been intimidated and overwhelmed by the bigger quilts this is the perfect project to learn the basics of Judy Niemeyer paper piecing. EDGE-TO-EDGE EMBROIDERY QUILTING Bring in a “ready to quilt” project (table runner, bench pillow backing, panel, baby, or lap quilt) and choose the best all-over quilting design from Amelie Scott Designs. These designs come in three sizes and multiple formats so they will work for most embroiderers. FAUX KNITTED SCARF Using your embroidery machine-of course! We will use the Yarn Couching Foot Set, yarn and water soluble stabilizer. Learn to hoop several designs overlapping in the hoop to hold them all together. BREAD CRUMBS Breadcrumbs is a table set designed to showcase a favorite focus fabric or solid color. Large pieces make this a quick project. Pattern includes two versions, one with a single focus fabric, the second with the focus fabric and a coordinating accent. Four placemats each measure 12 ½” X 18 5/8”. The runner, which makes use of focus fabric triangles left over from making the placemats, measures 15 ½” X 48 ½”. SERGER TABITHA TOTE This trendy serger tote is created with sergers that have coverstitch and chainstitch. We will also be using 2-thread and 3-thread flatlock, 3-thread overlock wide and 3-thread rolled edge. You are welcome to try our new air jet sergers to try these techniques. CLASS POLICY In order to insure your place in class, payment must be made at time of registration. Please register early so teachers and students can plan ahead. Refunds will only be given if the teacher cancels the class due to low enrollment or emergency. No exceptions. Cancellations will be made two days prior to class. Class fees are not transferable to other classes unless the class is cancelled. Classes cancelled due to bad weather will be re-scheduled or refunded. Please pick up supply list and supplies prior to class. Most classes require the purchase of a pattern or book; this is required per copyright laws. You will receive a 10% discount on all supplies on the list.
CLASSROOM MACHINES Husqvarna Viking and Pfaff sergers, sewing, and embroidery machines are available for classroom use at NO CHARGE! Please let us know if you want to use one, so we can get it ready for you. This is a great way to test drive.
TRADE-UP POLICY When you purchase a new or previously loved sewing machine or serger from Sew n Sew, you have a full year to upgrade that machine and receive 100% of your purchase price toward the MSRP price of a new machine. Minimum of $300 to be considered an upgrade.

If purchased from Sew n Sew $119. Minimum bench fee to assess issues $50. Any machines over 35 years old start at $299.
