SERGER FRINGE PILLOW Did you know you could make fringe on a serger? Use the two thread wrapped stitch designed for stretch fabrics to create fancy fringe. BEGINNER QUILTING Join us as we start the adventure of learning to make your first quilt. We will start with reviewing the supplies needed, setting your machine to the perfect ¼” for seam allowance, cutting, pressing and piecing to finish your project. DIAMOND COLLECTION EMBROIDERED PLACEMAT This embroidery collection from Anna’s Awesome Appliqué has five different blocks in three different sizes all on a convenient USB ready to go. SERGER HIDEAWAY HANGER Serge this handy covered hanger with a hideaway pocket inside. Great for hiding valuables when traveling or storing jewelry with matching garments. FLIPPED PLACE SETTINGS These placemats are a great place to showcase a beautiful large print and coordinating fabrics. They go together quickly with a flip and stitch technique that avoids working with bias edges. EDGE-TO-EDGE EMBROIDERY QUILTING Bring in a “ready to quilt” project (table runner, bench pillow backing, panel, baby, or lap quilt) and choose the best all-over quilting design from Amelie Scott Designs. NEW KIMBERBELL MINI QUILT OF THE MONTH Create seasonal décor with Kimberbell Mini Quilts. Each 12”x12” mini quilt celebrates each month with darling techniques and beautiful blocks. A FEW OF OUR FAVORITE THINGS This relaxed Block of the Month class will feature a repeat of “A Few of Our Favorite Things” with your fabric choices. Make it scrappy or coordinated, it’s up to you. Blocks will be done in order, so you can finish the small size in six months or the large size in 12. Techniques include piecing and applique, Some experience necessary. A ROAD TRIP QUILT Road Trip is a Block of the Month Adventure quilt that came from the idea of a road trip across the United States and depicts different aspects of the country from shore to shore. There are trees, mountains, ocean blocks, sun and stars along with various aspects of a road trip, roundabouts, mile markers and roadside blooms bring this bright quilt to life. $25 Teacher: Deb Waupaca: Third Thursday each month 5-8 Appleton: Fourth Monday each month 1-4 (May will be one week early - May 20th )
CLASS POLICY In order to insure your place in class, payment must be made at time of registration. Please register early so teachers and students can plan ahead. Refunds will only be given if the teacher cancels the class due to low enrollment or emergency. No exceptions. Cancellations will be made two days prior to class. You may send someone else in your place if you cannot attend. Class fees are not transferable to other classes unless the class is cancelled. Classes cancelled due to bad weather will be re-scheduled, or refunded. Please pick up supply list and supplies prior to class. Most classes require the purchase of a pattern or book; this is required per copyright laws. You will receive a 10% discount on all supplies on the list.
CLASSROOM MACHINES Husqvarna Viking and Pfaff sergers, sewing and embroidery machines are available for classroom use at NO CHARGE! Please let us know if you want to use one, so we can get it ready for you. This is a great way to test drive.
TRADE-UP POLICY When you purchase a new or previously loved sewing machine or serger from Sew n Sew, you have a full year to upgrade that machine and receive 100% of your purchase price toward the MSRP price of a new machine. Minimum of $300 to be considered an upgrade.
