SEW N' SEW NEWS BRIEF
GRATITUDE. Gratitude is the word I come away with after the past three months. When your entire world is turned upside down and there is fear of what the future holds, I found comfort in thinking about what I am grateful for.
I am grateful to my business and life partner, Sam who cheerfully worked every day to keep up with the increased demand on the service department.
I am so grateful for our exceptional staff. including Deb and Ritchie responsible for day to day operations, Ann, our edutainment specialist, Annie and Barb filling in and doing whatever is needed of them, Hannah for her creative window displays. Chris, Marian, Carrie, Linda, Wayne and Bob for their work behind the scenes. Their dedication, knowledge, and talents are second to none. What a team, always working together to achieve our goals.
I am grateful for my family. My Mom, 90 years old and still sewing table runners and quilts, and quilting them! My Dad, at 95 and still as sharp as a tack! Seven sisters, (all accomplished sewists). Four brothers ( two have sewn) and all of their supportive spouses and children. Their support has been incredible.
I am grateful for my dogs, Yadi, Shadow and Lily. They make me laugh every single day.
I am grateful for all the new “sewists” coming forward to make and donate masks by the thousands to those in need. And of course all the experienced sewists as well. Donating fabric, supplies and most of all your time to help others. You guys ROCK!
I am grateful for my health.
We are continuing with curbside pickup and shipping for those that prefer. Just give us a call. All Reward certificates that expired in March, April or May will be accepted through June and on expired coupon days.
